Not bad,I thought about looking at this lens.The only problem is your white balance seems to be off.Maybe set it to tungsten.

The tripod shots were of a paper with fine print on my refrigerator, took them at f2.8, f4, and f8, it took till f8 to really have then sharp. Thats normal for many lenses. yeah looks off to me, I get this sometimes too, how do you calibrate a monitor (sorry bout the stupid question if its simple) Canon 30D/Sigma 17-70/Canon 50mm 1.4 USM/Elinchrom D-Lite 2 kit
