Thanks. It suffers from a bit of CA and the corners won't win any sharpness awards, but really there is no alternative unless you can stitch (which I find to be a real pain in the butt).

What impresses me the most is the lack of almost all distortion.

At what apertures ? (Like with the 85L, CA becomes negligible by about f/2.2)

Pretty much all of them - but only really noticeable in high contrast highlights etc.
