A new PDA since my old one is about 4 years old and the battery doesn't hold a charge anymore and to replace it costs more than a new PDA.

A nice new photography book.

A trip to Hawaii.

My boys all at home and not arguing the whole time. :)

I know I am dreaming, but hey, it's Christmas.

Do you like palm or windows, Suzy? I'd snag a Treo smartphone. I've got the 650, and it's just grand to have. A super feature packed pda and a phone all in one. Wireless internet, integrated keyboard, bluetooth, camera/camcorder, etc. It has it all. They have the 700 available in windows and palm, and I haven't played with it enough to say how good it is. All I know is, 10 seconds into playing with the windows version, it crashed and had to reset.

Ronald, get them paper thin walls insulated yet?

...the heck are you talking about?

Anyway, what do I personally want for christmas? If we're talking realistically, I'd like either an 85L or a 135L. Preferrably the 85. Unrealistically? I'd like a 1DMkIIN, as I spent the "N" money on computer stuff, a second 35L (don't ask..yet ;-)a ), an 85 1.8, and I had to replace my cellphone, as it got..er..smashed.

Funny you should say that. My 2 year Verizon contract is up in January and I have had my cell phone for almost 3 years now and it's pretty beat. So, I was going to indulge this wish of mine at Christmas and get a PDA phone, but my husband loves his Blackberry and said it would be great for me. I'm not convinced so I will look into the other models. Just so expensive. I have a Sony Clie from years ago and it works great, but it's had it's run and now, I've got to upgrade.

Link?

My house uses natural gas, and it's around $2k/month in the winter to heat.

Blackberries are crap. I hate them and everything about them. No touchscreen (a biggie for me), no real user-friendly functionality or anything. The Treo's just have everything. The 700p looks great. If it had wifi, I'd jump on it.

Ther bigest problem with my Blackberry is that all my work e-mail arrives on it :-(

Oh ho. Yeah, it sucks that natural gas (at least here) has more than doubled. Makes it rough for some people.

Man, you seem to generate lots of gas so can't you use some of that? :p

I asked for a hood for my 50mm 1.8 last year and got it :-) This year I want to go back to Barcelona for 3-4 days, or if I am flush I might go to the Gambia for some sun :-) Toys suck!

Canon 70-200 f/4 L
or
Sigma 10-20

If not:
- New jacket
- Banksy: Wall and Piece book
- A book on CS2
- New hard drive / external hard drive
- Some running shoes
- Other random things.

Leaning towards the 70-200 if i can afford a lense, I want something to take with me on my hitchhike to Morocco.
