I'm planning on a 580EX - I can't justify it but POTN has taught me to aim for the best, and in truth it's not that much more than the 430EX...is it?

I've already overspent my camera budget for this year....so it remains to be seen. As a family we just do presents for the kids, grown ups have to make do with food and booze. As I have never grown up, toy shopping is still a pleasure for me!

I am getting my wife a Carribean cruise. I am getting an extra ticket so she can take me with her (At least I am hoping she takes me with her). Should be some great photo ops. 10 Days of Spring Break.

Are you actually wanting to get all that, or is it a "dream" list?

I'll probably only get one of the lenses. The Wii, Zen w and the 30D are christmas things. Getting one of the lenses will come from my camera fund, recently boosted by payment from a wedding I did a little while back. :)

Definitely! :) It's been top of my 'next time I actually get paid for doing some of this' list for a while. And then I actually did. It'll be along fairly soon.

I think one of the moderators combined mine and Billy's threads. Mine was "What are you buying yourself for Christmas?" And Billy's had this title, but they were basically the same, except one was buying for yourself and one was a wish list. :)

I was thinking that... I thought maybe I'd had too much to drink last night, but at least I now know the title has changed :):)

I still want that 135 f/2 L ;)

No, not drinking too much. I didn't ask the moderators to combine the threads, but thought about it. Then I came on last night and it was done. See, great minds do think alike. :)

Yeah - the unofficial official wishlist didn't belong in EF Lenses, and it didn't make sense to have two almost identical ones in here.

Ok, well I don't think I'll be buying myself any gear for Xmas, but I am hoping my parents will give me some cash that I can use towards a moped. I'm still not sure if I'll actually get it in spring, but it'd be kinda cool. I keep having this vision of taking the moped around to places that I can photograph. :)

You mean that you know other people who actually understand enough about photography that you'll trust them with a "wish list"?
