as for me, the only lens i really have a hankering for now is a UWA like the 10-20. possibly a macro. i really feel quite set on lenses with what i have these days.

Your buying? In that case Santa could you sent me a 45/2.8, I have been very good (well more or less) and have almost saved up enough for my soon to be purchased 35/1.4. I have a place in my bag for both.

im torn between the 100-400L and the 300 f4 with a 1.4 TC
got the go ahead, now need to decide

I would love a 35mm f/1.4L, what I'm hoping to get is a light stand, bracket, brolly, and some way of remotely firing the flash (currently looking at cheapo Chinese radio triggers).

Either a 50mm or 85mm f/1.2L...

I don't think Santa's springing for the 300mm or 400mm f/2.8L IS this year. Too bad, too - I was hoping for a white Christmas.  :p
