Well I've decided that I'm going to give myself a list of things I'd like for XMas.

Then I'm going to give that list to my wife in advance, because she really sucks at getting me presents.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I understand that one, Scottes. That's why my husband does not go nuts when I tell him I want something very expensive. He would rather say sure than shop. :)

My present came early (last month), my 300mm f/2.8L IS. :D Then I turned around and put a lot of other money in some CDs so I would stop spending it for a while.

The only Christmas spending left for me will be for my kids and parents. So no more gear for a bit. :(

Couple of DSLRs, number of lenses and other stuff... plenty short on talent.

I was going to say, if you have to give up Christmas for something, the 300 IS isn't that bad. :)

Thanks... I'm just spoilin' myself! But I REALLY want to shoot sports, and latey been trying to line up some work here shooting a couple of the high school football games. I figured I should jump on the 300mm while I could afford it!
