The boys are getting me a few fun things, so I will have plenty of presents to open. I am really bad at waiting for anything, let alone something so great. I have 2 weddings in December to shoot, so I think I needed to have it. I usually shoot with 2 cameras, now I have 3 and I'm so excited. I may hire a second just for fun.

Well, when they come out for Christmas, my 18 year old will definitely have his little A510 and the two little boys are getting the A530 and my oldest will probably use my 20D, but he'll be said to be using my 24-70 and then go back to the 10D with 28-135. The 24-70 is a beautiful lens. I have gotten quite attached to it.

I would love to be living near you, Sari and Maureen. I would love to have the chance to shoot a wedding with either of you. Maureen has some great lenses and her photos are very nice. I know I have some serious gear now and have to have a reason to use it. I'm planning on shooting with Jon next month. Sari, you have a great eye for angles and composition. You should post more.

Oh just wait'll you slap it on that 5D. It's somethin' else. You've used it on film, but the 5D is in its own league. Enjoy..you've earned it. ;-)a

I don't blame you...I'd hate waiting for something like that...I hate waiting for something simple like jewelry....but something I could be USING would probably kill me

I know.. I need to get out and about.. I thought that I would be shooting a lot more when I moved up here.. but between work and being soo unfamiliar with the area i've been slow to go out and shoot.. but, i'll get there..

I know. I have always opened my Christmas presents before the day of. Sometimes I woke up in the middle of the night and opened up the wrapping while everyone was asleep. I've been doing that since I was 5. I don't like surprises. I like to do the surprising.;)

I would open it and use it. Life is too short to keep waiting. I know it spoils the 'fun' but then again if you have to wait this long it's not gonna be fun anyway. Believe me my 100-400 is going out on a shoot this weekend when it arrives, not hide in some box... ;)

Brown truck eh? Hmm.... how about brown plane? (they really are brown, and mine has left its Hawaii stopover already)

  (Well, I'll say this before my husband jumps in with it...) That sounds just like me....because I'd open them and then re-wrap them (I'd gotten so good, no one ever knew) my mother, for years now, has wrapped my packages with strapping tape or duct tape or something that would SHOW that I peeked.....I guess I just hate surprises
