I really like this image. I'm in a Photography class now through my local community college and the portfolio due is about still life. This is a great idea and you did an awesome job with that image.

It's a fantastic shot. Perfect bokeh and DOF. The sharpness of the detail in the bubble is wonderful. Wow!

I wanted to post to this a long time ago, since it has been resurrected:

Ditto about National Geographic!

I remember flipping through that issue at my wife's grandmother's house, and seeing the picture. I remembered it from here. I remember thinking to myself "wow, someone on the forum I visit frequently got a shot published in National Geographic. How cool is that?"
