Red Barn for Elisabeth-Ann

Hows this for a red barn, one I had taken a few months back and completely forgot about. It was a difficult shot, Barn was way of the road and a lot of brush in front.

Wow, those are some BIG red barns Sandy! Thanks for posting them for me, I do enjoy your photos, and seeing pictures of farms, colourful barns and countryside is very therapeutic for me, being stuck here on this coral rock with all this damn sunshine an' all Seriously, though I do miss rolling green hills, fencelines, golden fields and woodlands. The islands are pretty, but living here year round, you do take the weather for granted, and even get a bit sick of it. I haven't been posting much lately, or getting out to do any quality photos as we are renovating the hotel - and I just bought a Singh-Ray gold 'n' blue polarizer, which I am dying to really get out and play with. (sigh). All work and no photos makes Elisabeth-Ann a very dull girl! I'll be popping in now and then to check you and everyone else out over the next week or two though!

Thanks for the wonderful comments, Keep in mind that as winter approaches you will become the envy of all of us here in the northern climates. Nothing more daunting than New England in January and February. Cabin fever sets in about Febraury 15th

You can always post some photos of the Hotel renovations and then taunt us in Jan. with the warm and wonderful beach scenes.

LOL - here we call it rock fever. 6 months of living on an island just 21 miles by 7, and with only two mediocre shopping malls, and I get a bad case of it, the only prescription that will cure it is a trip to Ft. Lauderdale for a shopping spree Anyone who has ever travelled through Toronto, Miami or Ft. Lauderdale must have seen all the Jamaicans and Bahamians frantically taping together boxes of Pampers, microwave ovens and other small appliances, coolers full of frozen meats, and at least 10 bulging suitcases between a family of 4! Bahamasair was famous for delays and left luggage because of us locals and our madcap shopping habits.

When you build your snowman, I hope you'll post a photo of it here for me!

Nice red barns, Sandy. So you have a problem taking them from the side of the road too! I have some that I will post too.
I can understand how you might go stir crazy even in Paradise, Elizabeth. I could handle it for a while though. January thru April would work well for me.
