In these I used a huge plastic sheet, bounced the flash off the ceiling, and had 2 big windows of light. I used my 18-55 lens.

They look "ok" but I think they will come out better when I get my 50mm 1.8 lens, it's on order. I really wanted the 1.4 but at the moment with xmas around the corner and 3 kids to buy for I settled for the cheaper.

I am yet to do some of my daughter, she's feeling unwell today.

Can anyone tell me if the 50mm 1.8 I have ordered will make a difference to the clarity?
I know the 1.4 would be more ideal, but the 1.8 is ok isn't it?

Nothing other than the colour has been touched in PCS2.

Cheers

Great job! #3 is my favourite. The light looks very nice and natural.

I don't have experience with many lenses, but I love my 50mm 1.8. For a reference on sharpness, I did these almost entirely with it: http://www.craftsbyvictoria.com/solomon (external link) .
