I was using my 420EX in Slave Mode recently, and snapped this shot from behind it as it was firing. Ignore the red squiggly lines, but check out the globs in the blown up view. As near as I can tell, they are plasma globules which will probably kill anyone/anything they come in contact with.

Yup...way I figure, that's that new fangled particle beam weapon the military is using.

No idea what could cause that. Maybe just the amount of electricity repelling the dust? Dunno.

hey i just found out once when someone fired their flash into my arm. VERY HOT. its not something im in the habit of doing.

It's just atmospheric 'floaters' - most of it probably composed of old bits of skin and other exfoliations from near by humans.....in the right lighting it quickly becomes apparent that the air is anything but filtered. that's why we have noses, and also why they fill up and need emptying fairly regularly! :lol:
