Look surreal.

What PP did you do if you don't mind me askig? Also was it 3 landscape oriented shots?

yes, this was 3 landscape shots. there was a fair bit of overlap. PP consisted of some sharpening, tweaking levels, bringing up the blue a bit to deepen the color of the water, and a slight bump in saturation...

when i took this into the frame shop, the owner asked if i could make another print... she wanted to frame it and hang in on her wall with a big "for sale" sign! needless to say, i agreed... she's working on framing it now, and expects to have it done shortly, to join several other photos i took of the Seattle skyline which she already has on display.

Thought that looked familiar.... Been to that State Park, it's a beautiful chunk of "The Coast". Looks like you caught the beauty just right! Congrats.

Excellent, you must have to be King Canute to hold back the waves for 3 shots :)

VERY nice. Excellent composition for a pano. I'd have to think that it must look great printed.

it does... and at 12x36, it's big enough to look great even from across the room! ;)

Well done. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do about the waves? When taking panos with moving objects, I'm not sure what to do...other than try to leave out moving objects :).

in this case, i set it up so that the surf was captured in the first frame, and the sea beyond the surf, where breakers hadn't formed yet, was shot in succeeding images.
