I must be one of the faster posters here but I love this forum so much that I don't usually notice. But when you get to 6K you do. Any other forums I have visited over the years I hardly post, believe it, it's true.
It's the bird forum on POTN I like best, because to take shots of birds is a skill and the warm friendly guys and gals on this forum attracts me back and back again.

Now for this shot I have taken. I looked on my hard drive to exhibited one for the 6K post and though I still have a few not shown, mostly the ones in the UK, I still come back to the Snowy Egret that I took in Florida, It has become one of my favourites as I saw it in real life and come to love it. So the Snowy Egret has won my heart to exhibit it on my marathon 6k post.

Hope you enjoy.
FL 260 mm, ISO 200, Aperture F7.1, shutter speed 1/160. Camera Canon 20D and 100-400 mm l lens.

Congrats Tony. I admire the patience of any birder...I'm not envious of it...but I still admire it. :p

6000 posts in 7 months, it took me a year to accumulate that many. Very nice post Tony, light levels were low so that exposure wasn't a problem, but a especially nice job in framing, the open space works for me here. Looking forward to the next 6000 posts.
