Now, now, don't start that thing again.. This thread is long enough. LOL.

I used this lens again yesterday. I was able to film the subject talking (a retirement dinner) then move to the side to photograph them talking, all while not staying too far from my XL2.

Awesome dudes (used a flash too. Just to keep the light up there).

You're telling me!

This shows what this lens can do I think. The 1D really brings it out.

Yep, it's mighty sharp. Also works well for macro if you bolt a tube or two on...

This was at f/5.6, looks great as a desktop background - it's a BIG spider then

That's the first shot here that's really impressed me. Sorry but most of the shots here just haven't lit my fire. But this image is sensational.

This is a lens that I'm very interested in, purley because the zoom version is so big and heavy. I have a sigma 70-200/2.8 which I am very happy with, but I mostly use it wide open and maxxed out...so i might as well get a prime. The bag weight will be less and this lens is less conspicuous.

If you select all sizes on your flickr page, then cut and paste the right box
and dop it into the insert image button on this forum, you get an embedded image.
