So my sister shows up yesterday all excited. She had been out shopping and had managed to strike one more person off her Christmas list. She bought a digital camera. I was really perplexed as I usually get roped into helping anyone in the family when it comes time buying anything photographically.

So she hands me this thing and asks me for my opinion. Did I mention it was for one of her granddaughters and made by Fisher Price.

2MP with a built in memory card that says it will hold approx 60 shots. The smallest and crappiest lcd I've seen in my life.

No zoom. A rather rudimentary focus but it did have a built in flash that was good for (are you ready for this) a whole whopping 7 feet.

It does have a slot for an SD card but you have to remove screws to put it in. I guess its in for good. So much for trying a card reader.

Oh, I could just go on forever......

Of course you know, this is all tongue in cheek.:D;):)

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Anyone here got the bal**s to walk around town with this round their neck?

Could do with a POTN strap though... :-)

What does it retail for?

My wife bought me my first digital camera a few years ago, Fuji Finepix 2.1 MP. $400.

Maybe the blue one is Full-Frame and comes with 'L' glass?

Don't know why. My son, he's 7, wanted the blue one. I already bought him a Canon A530 and he's wanting a toy. Kids. Marketing is everything.

So when are we going to see Bi-optic technology used in SLR's?
The whole useing 1 eye thing is terriably out dated.

So long and thanks for all the flash

oh I agree!! I mean why shouldn't we have preview screens to hold the camera a foot in front of us... seriously, DSLR's are not up with the times... :p :p :p
