Yep yep. I love that lens. It has a little distortion that I find myself correcting in PS with the Lens Correction filter on a lot of of my images, but overall it's a fantastic lens.

No. I find that landscape shots like this one don't typically need it. It's closeup shots that really exhibit the distortion. Like so:
