Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Wow! Beautiful-all of them. Guess I'd pick the 3rd as my favorite. Are you in Erie, Pa?

Thanks! One of my friends showed me a how to on this site. So I joined. And yes I'm in Erie PA. All the above shots were taken on Presque Isle with a Canon A510. I'll have a killer panoramic of the beach, but I need to find a better hosting site. Any advice on one that allows higher res photos?

My son was up in Erie for about 2 years doing some landscaping for a company. He found out he prefers the south....but I went up to visit and we spent a lot of time out at that park.

Yeah it's a nice place, and it's close to my campus. Whenever I need to unwind I head up there and take pics. I can't wait to get similar shots with snow on the ground!

Welcome to POTN! :)

Oh, and in regards to your question about photo hosting websites, the one I use is Smugmug. It's not free, but only costs $45 Canadian ($39 U.S.) per year. I like it so far. Great service, unlimited space, can post high res pics, etc. And if this just isn't the one for you, there are plenty of other good sites out there. Here are some other popular ones (some are free, some aren't, some have both):

http://www.flickr.com (external link)

Hope you find a host site that suits you. :)

Thanks for the info! I think I'm going to go with flickr (bunch of my friends have it). The one i use now (facebook) allows unlimited pics, but it autosizes them to low-q.
