It's get's no better than a big heavyweight fight at Madison Square Garden for shooting boxing. Here's a few shots from last night. Critiques and comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

Excellent as usual. I was quite interested in the camera Matthew Modine was using. I just read an article where he said that camera was a gift to him years ago and that he's just about ready to go digital.

I'd be very interested to see the results he obtains with that, especially in boxing.

I met him last year at a birds of prey event. He's a very nice guy.

Here with my daughter:

He was extremely nice, I was brought over to meet him and talk some photography/boxing, he was actually on the other side of the ring. Then I was asked to go to the other side, so I spent most of the night shooting right by him and trading stories...he did have a bunch of questions about my camera bodies, frame rates, etc...good time

Great series Ed, I really enjoyed your pics.
Thats a nice shot of your daughter MDJAK with Mathew Modine, people sometimes forget there only human and want to be treated as such.

Thanks mrclark321, appreciated. MDJAK that is a nice shot. I have one of the two of us ringside, the ring announcer picked up my other camera and told us to get together, came out ok at best...

Ah, yes, raising the bar yet again! Nice captures. Love the ones of Ali.

I will be attending a PAL Boxing Recognition Dinner on Saturday night ... something new for me ... guess I'll haul a camera along.

Nice. 'Power' is my favorite. Boxing looks so incredibly painful.
