I was reading reviews and I heard the G5 doesn't come with a charger. Is this true? If so, where would I buy a charger if I were to buy the camera?

It comes with an AC adapter, which also serves to charge the battery in-camera.

An external charger is much more convenient than charging in-camera, though. Some would argue it saves wear and tear in the camera as well. I have a Lenmar Mach1 speed charger which charges the battery in 30 minutes. This would be even more beneficial if you only have one battery to start with. Then when you get two, you can easily switch out the dead one and it will be ready for you before the second even gets close to being run low. Enjoy your G5 if you end up getting it.

How much does it cost and where did you get it?

I have made up my mind that I want the G5 but I need to pick the right time to get it. Do you think I should wait a month to see if the G6 comes out (I heard it was a possibility for the G6 to come out next month on this forum)? I am not in a big rush to get it and if it means waiting a month to get the camera cheaper, I will do so.

I got my charger from Buy.com. It was about $60 at the time. Looks like they have a new model listed now and it is $70.

I'm not sure what to tell you about waiting. Even if a "G6" is not released, chances are that the G5 will come down in price. That's just the way the electronics world is. Digital camera models simply get cheaper as time goes buy. So you could get the G5 now at a pretty good price and be using it or you can wait a maybe save $50-$100. Just depends on what you really want to do.
