#1 and #3 are the best out of these two... I love the ship in #3, that really shows how long the shutter was open! :-D

I actually won a linear perspective contest with that one...its a shot i did looking up in between the cables of the bridge

here it is...i feel like i lose most of the quality when i reduce the size, and then reduce the quality to get below the 100kb...

Thanks!

In fact I spotted it when looking back over the comp galleries earlier but hadn't realised it won! Great shot. I love the way the top cable is barely visible in the SF mist!

I like the last shot the best, good eye there! The rest of them all seem to be blurry. Either because of camera shake(long exp) or due to shallow DOF. From the #3 shot EXIF, the f3.5 is very shallow aperture to use in such wide landscape shots.
Also in the #3 and 4 shots your White balance is also a little off- the bridge is looking more orange than the red color it is. So maybe correct that and repost, and also give USM a shot for sharpening the shots up a bit.

The most important thing you need to with that shot is to get on the OTHER side of that fence to eliminate those foreground distractions (fence, sign, bench, PEOPLE, etc). Also, it would help to post this in your own thread in order to get advice and avoid taking over someone else's thread.

The cars are blured in the first shots. You should get somebody to stand in the middle of the bridge and stop traffic to eliminate that ;-)a

PS: Love them. Makes me want to Visit San Francisco again.

The first shot in the dark has good quality to the image. To me it's quite an impressive shot.
The third and fourth have good colours with the the third being the best. Well done.

Sorry I seen other threads with other people photos in it so I thought it was okay to do that cos I'm a newbie. Apologies to the thread owner

I only had my camera about two hours then so I thought it was a good shot. Thanks for the advice tho.
