Yeah. It's mostly due to the TC and the cropping, which was substantial. I had sharper shots of this bird, but the poses weren't as good. Thanks for the comment. This was in my back yard. I heard it singing, and went outside to find it on the fence. I am in a typical suburban neighborhood, with lots of bushes and trees, but no real open areas. The foliage you see behind the bird is a lilac bush. This is the second time I have seen a wren there, the other being several months ago, although I posted it more recently: https://photography-on-the.net …p?t=229553&highlight=wren Digital EOS 90D Canon: EF 50mm f/1.8 II, EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro, Life-Size Converter EF Tamron: SP 17-50mm f/2.8 DiII, 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 DiII VC HLD, SP 150-600 f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2, SP 70-200 f/2.8 Di VC USD, 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 DiII VC HLD Sigma: 30mm f/1.4 DC Art Rokinon: 8mm f/3.5 AS IF UMC

canonloader Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 13, 2006 10:11 | #6 I'll have to look it up, but I think they are bug eaters, so that means they've gone south by now. I'll have to keep my eye out for them in the spring though, cause it sounds like our local areas are about the same. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

My book shows them year-around in the southern 1/3 of Wisconsin, and since these ranges are only approximations, you may find them any time. Good luck.
