The framing and the angle on the first one are both wrong. It's an unnatural angle and it makes me turn my head to view the picture.


The second is much better. Nice colours, great sky and good compostion with the inclusion of that person in the photo.

Try though leveling the horizon.

i loved the first one. the angle was confusing but the photo was beautiful, the contrast and reflections were really good i thought. nice shots

I really like the second shot. It looks so cold! The horizon does need to be straightened though.

C mon Dude, Caspian Sea is not that bad!
I've lived at Krasnovodsk for the whole year 1985-1986 and enjoyed Avaza Beach very much...
It looks more like Baltic Sea!

Regarding to the first picture, I wanted to have something different with regular beautiful captures. Something like the below has nothing to say except for nice sky and reflection:

About the second one, in my opinion, human existence and slightly tilted horizon, boost the mood; may be I should have put this picture in the People thread.
