One thing really did surprise me though. I was surprised how little has changed from 1995 when the DCS1 was introduced and 2005 when the 30D was launched. Heck, they almost look the same and checking over the spec sheets, they are closer than I would have thought except for one thing, The price. $36,000 YIKES!!! Not sure why, but call me JJ.

There is one for ya. Consider this a challenge ![]() Here is one that I did a couple of months ago for a presentation that I was making. All the info is readily available at the Canon Camera museum site. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Used it there to illustrate product cycle time lines. As much as I love photography I also love to study the business end of it as well. I spend a fair amount of time going over Canon's and Nikon's income statements for their shareholders. No (before anyone asks) I have not done one of these for the other guys. What was your presentation for? I never thought to look on DPreview... Billginthekeys, I am going to start shooting a club to where I would need 3 or 4 shooters. I wont be able to afford rentals or anything. We will be printing out 4X6 prints only using these. id still try to find at least old D30. those old dinosaurs are probably going to be a whole lot more trouble than its worth. keep you eyes out and you should be able to pick up D30 and D60 bodies for under $300. I seriously considered buying one of these old things but around that time the 300D came out and changed everything ![]() I know someone with one ,a DCS1 i think. He could barely give it away now. The funny thing is that the camera body still has about a hundred thousand shots left in it ![]() Batteries are the key issue for these old dawgs. I kaNt sPeL...
