I have struggled to get the same image quality with my EOS350D and kit lens as my beloved G5, until now . I have just purchased a Sigma 10-20 and after only 2 days use I am very impressed. This lens is very sharp, well built and value for money. Here are some samples taken on the day I purchased the lens - all taken at Poole Quay, Dorset UK.

The distortion at 10mm is crazy - but hey that's all part of the fun.

Awesome shots, I was torn between 10-22 and 17-40 for a long time, and was affraid that I would fall in love with it and won't be able to use it on a full frame body...

I have read reviews claiming that this lens offers L quality at an affordable price - I can't disagree.
