I like sepia most, looks very refreshing and energizing.

It depends on the impression that you're aiming for. As a straight photo, I prefer #2 because there is a little bit more saturation to the building. The sepia version works well as a period shot - apart from the picnic benches which are out of character. I would also be tempted to make a perspective correction to correct the left and right-hand verticals too.

For me, sepia does it. It makes it timeless.

Whiter snow and more vivid colours means another vote for #2 :p

The sepia would be better Richard in this type of shot to give an oldie look version, but as John said the benches look a bit out of character, including the car just behind the bushes. The black and white version doesn't do it for me but the second shot to me is the best, where you have improved a lot from the original. If you can get rid of the car and the benches in the sepia version then it would be the image for me.

I actually prefer #1. I can almost feel the cold from the photo. But I suppose it does depend what you are aiming for.

yea that was what i thought at first but then i saw the effect after saturating it a bit more and i was completely thrown lol.

thanks everyone for all of the feedback know for sure now that it's probably the saturated version OR perhaps the sepia but the car and picknick tables... hmm oh well

#2 for me, the colors are much more richer in the stone work which also has better detail.
