Well my buddy of 10 years proposed to his girlfriend last week. I took my camera and took a few shots. Don't you hate when people choose a poor place to stand. Right in front of a lit ad stand. Good thing I had my 580EX or my shots would have been terribly back-lit. Still didn'nt really turn out good though. Oh well, they're candits and nothing more. I wasn't about to interrupt the moment to ask them to move to a better location before they sealed the deal. Here's the best shot I got

Resizing after sharpening the image seemed to have caused some problems with the clairity of the shot. If you wanna see my original processed image check here: http://www.photoniceye.ca/index.php?showimage=144 (external link)

I was just following the forum rules by resizing to fit in a 800x800 box.

I do like her expression. :) Not really the best place for "engagement photos", but this works for a spare of the moment snap shot. Congrats to your friend!

Yeah it wasn't the best place. He got off the airplane from a trip and then proposed to her in the terminal. About 20 of us showed up for the occasion without her knowing. There were two video cameras and about three or four cameras. Heh, people in the airport were wondering what the heck was going on. :p
