"Yes, Virginia, I am a CHATTERBOX"

At first I was feeling guilty about amassing 3000 posts in such a short time, but while I was doing my work today, I was thinking about how much I've learned in the 6 mo. since I've been here (both lurking and since I started posting).

I've learned how to properly (and while it's still a challenge in some cases, I understand how to do it) expose highlights (thanks Robert Lay)...
I "found" my soul mate camera (thanks to the patience of all those in my first posts) in the 5D.
I've learned about exposure and proper equipment...and that spending tons of $ doesn't the photographer make....

I've seen types of photography that I never knew existed (thanks Duder and Lord V) and seen normal people (or mostly normal) make the ordinary things seem absolutely beautiful...(DazzleBea​, Mike Bell, Buggbairn, Anthony J Howe, Gary Fairhead, Cat...and so many others that would take forever to mention).

and I've enjoyed the conversations and banter w/a bunch of great people (again, too many to mention but I'm sure you know I mean you )!

So, yes, I'm a chatterbox, but thanks for the company!

Hey, don't feel bad, Chatterbox! I only had 175 posts this time last year.

And I thought I was a chatterbox! It's really easy to post away to people in the Sharing section and soon enough you rack up the posts. Some days I post more than others.

I guess I like to comment A LOT! But you do get a great cross section of opinions around here...differing priorities and goals and things...so there's so much to see and do! It's no wonder it draws you in....

You've only been on since August this year! Boy, you really do post a lot. You need a life.

This is what happens when your kids move out and you have too much time on your hands...and you're not a tv watcher...but you're right, I need a life

I guess this is better than sitting around in a robe, eating bon-bons and watching soaps.... Although, how much better is open for debate....

Nobody will top me for chatterbox .
Or so it seems permagin has me a little bit on the post count per day.. .

hell, she's got ME there! Almost 30 posts per day, and I'm at a measley 22. I've got to get going!

oh no....no wonder Suzy told me to get a life.....Ron, at this rate, I'll top you in 6 months...

Right now at your current rate, you're doing about 240 posts per month more than me. It would take you a good year or two, no? You're only doing a couple thousand a year more than me.

Heh, I think if I stick around here we'll see about that . I don't want to top 30 posts per day though, I mean 40 would be extreme overkill, I'de be banned for excessive posting.

well, I was counting on you having another router problem...making posting impossible for another 6 months

Hey, look, guys, don't encourage this... I don't want to come home to find my wife, cobwebs attached, muscles atrophied with the exception of her fingers, staring at her laptop, trying to up her post counts simply because someone raised the bar!
