Hi all, I'm making a pretty big decision in my life, and am looking for as much input as I can find before I finalize the decision.

I currently attend the University of Kansas, and will be transfering next year. I will be entering an architecture program.

The question is: Where?

I really hope to go to the western United States, and the Pacific Northwest would be nice. I hope to go somewhere geographically appealing, to sastify my photography desires.

Whats you opinion? any pointers?

Thanks POTN!

theres not much for architecture up here, atleast nationally recognized. the UW is a great school, but not the best around for architecture.

It is a very asthetically pleasing area though:)

WSU has a great interior design dept, and they do have a arch dept, but I don't know how good it is. and Pullman is going to be similar to where you are now.

I'm not really needing the most prestigious architecture school, I would sacrifice a bit of quality for a) cost and b) location.

Thanks for the reply, I'm looking into them right now :)

Are you currently and arch study at KU? if so, just stay there man, it's one of the best in the nation, Iowa State is pretty good as well, but not as good as KU. I know you asked about other programs on the west coast, but if you can stick it out at KU, you really should.

I would be entering their program next year, but I don't like Kansas, and I don't really like the University of Kansas. I've made the decision to move, I've lived in the midwest my entire life, and it's time to move on.

Maybe I'll regret it. But, maybe not. :)

Thanks for your input, deadpass.
