The fact that you will not have a problem getting rid of the lens says ALOT about the lens....

BUT hey, if you dont use it or like what it offers you dont feel bad. Not every lens is for every photographer...

it doesnt mean you are inferior or anything like that...I think its popularity come from the fact that it does take nice pictures and is a common need lens...doesnt mean its for everyone....
