20D or 20Da ?

Whats the differance...

I went to Canon's site because my beautiful and sexy, ok I am excited, new 20D is on the way cause I wanted to check firmware versions to make sure it has most current when it gets here Thursday..

And it has a choice of 20D or 20Da?

Anyone know the differance or how to tell or whats up with this?

20Da has some of the filtering removed, to improve photography thru a telescope.
Unless your into Astro Photograph, you probably want the 20D.

from what I gather the 20Da is modded for astronomy. I think it's almost the same spec as the 20D but a modded sensor. Hopefully someone who knows more will chime in. I was wonder the same thing

20D is for regular portraits. 20Da is for angel portraits mainly and accompanying landscape ;)

You'd know if you got the 20Da; IIRC it comes at a significant premium over the 20D (evcen before the 30D was released).

It also has live preview on the LCD, but don't tell anyone, they might think it makes it a lesser camera.
