So I dropped my 20d...

Cracked the LCD SCREEN :(

Canon Canada comes to the rescue and tells me to ship it to them for a free estimate.

I'm also worried that the sensor is damaged (the camera still works fine) or the focusing is effed.

Has anyone dealt with them regarding broken LCD's?

How much will the price be to fix?


20d, 30d, 40d, 50d ( broken :( ) - A2E - 70-200 f/2.8L - 24-70 f/2.8L - efs 10-22 - 85mm f/1.8 - 50mm f/1.4 430 ex - ALL GONE

There was a guy on FredMiranda that took apart his 20D after it was declared beyond repair by Canon. The LCD is made by Sony...
My guess is that the repair will be somewhere around $200 or so.
