Great name for a Pub!!!!. Canon 10d and 75-300ISUSM, both images were captured at the British Wildlife Centre, so are not strictly Wildlife, but beautiful creatures anyway. Steve

Great set of shots - nice timing. On the fox shot I'd clone out the white blon in the top left hand.

I think that white blob may be a mayfly or something, good advice though, I think I will remove it. Steve

The fox and the otter, certainly is a great title for a pub.
Great looking images all nicely photographed. The fox and the otter are two cracking good shots and good to see how wild that wild cat is, well done.

Excellent series, even if they were shot in a nature center. If you had not mentioned, I wouldn't be able to tell. Well done.

The otter seemed to take exception to me being so close to the bank, I was waiting for it to emerge from the water and when it did it surprised me but luckily I got the shot. polecat was easy as it sat in the sun warming itself. The fox shot wasnt difficult and is 1 of 2 frames i took, it had been dozing and I noticed it waking so went sideways on to get the shot.
The Scotish wildcat was a terrific experience, the handler made some hand movements in front of the cat and away it went into its mr angry pose. I got several shots from different angles.
The British Wildlife Centre is near Gatwick Airport and is not a zoo as such. It is more of an education establishment for schools etc and normal entry I believe is not permitted, however they provide photography days ( I paid £40) which allows full access into the cages for close up work with the animals. Refreshments included. their website can be found at www.britishwildlifecentre.co.uk (external link) please note I have no commercial interest in the centre, i simply have had a great day there and reccommend it fully.
