The correct way Claire is:

Donde puedo retratar cementerios.

Actually I thought this thread might (if lucky) be a place where we can teach each other phrases in various languages. You know, how to say stuff like "Where can I get a cheap L lens?" in Japanese and such things. ;)

Donde puedo encontrar un cementerio a fotographia?

Something like that. Haven't used my Spanish in years.

John, in Spanish, you can't have two conjugated verbs next to each other.

Ah..portray. I wondered why I couldn't think of the verb for "to photograph". I never learned one! That still wouldn't be quite right, would it? Couldn't you simply ask where the cemetery is?

I was going to start a "Let Claire teach you Swedish" thread, but figured that one would die pretty fast, so I started this one instead. At least now I let people ask each other for translations and help each other out with translating.

And if everyone keeps using Babelfish to translate things...ehm, then I think we'll have a lot of fun when going abroad!!
