Yeah, thanks guys. I figured it was fine. I'll report your answers back to him.

I keep saying it's more important to go out and take pictures than spend hours pixel peeping pictures of brick walls. But I don't think he cares.

I guess that's the diff between a gear junkie and photographer...

Buddy that is that Canadian crap light. Your images look ok but that dull light makes jpg's look soft. Been there and done that. Try shooting in RAW to fix the dullness light. Can't tell you if it is crazy sharp because of the subject and dull light but it looks fine.

877.25 Going once..., Twice, ....

Pictures look great, try shooting with a higher quality of light and you should get better results.

LOL.

I don't think he's that stupid. I'm sure he's expecting top dollar when he sells it, unless I can convince him otherwise.

I'll trade him a non-IS version for it. I'll even throw in a nifty 50.

Hmmmmmmmmm, shows what I know, or don't know. My first thought was they looked soft. My second thought was that they need the pop of PP and then they would be great. To shut down bidding, tell him I will give $2,000 for it. (I won't, but maybe that will cut down on the bidding so you can get serious replies.) ;)

They did seem soft at first to me, but i don't trust my eyes anymore. Like you said a little PP and it's all gravy baby.
