Don't laugh. It was actually a good camera (at the time). I think I paid $999.00 for it brand new. Amazon has them for $189.00 :(

I don't have any pitures at the moment, by my first P&S was a Canon Powershot A20 (thats what i think it was). Ah, the good old 2MP.

The latest one, before my 350D, was a Panasonic Lumix 'something or other'. It would be a year and a half old. That's been to Vietnam and Cambodia with me. :)

I don't have a pic of it, but I had numerous p&s digital cameras before I bought my first DSLR, the D70 (yeah, yeah, Nikon). I think my last p&s camera I owned before shooting with a DSLR was the Canon S500.

My P&S camera before the 20D was a Konica-Minolta Dimage A2. I had it for about 3 months before i left it in my car that leaked when it rained......i bet you can figure out the rest. But i think of it this way....if that camera wouldn't of gotten wrecked i wouldn't have an SLR. So it was kind of a blessing in disguise!!

This is officially my camping/offroading camera now that I have a new DSLR. I took this little guy to Paris, France and Baja for offroading. It's a good little camera.

Had a Kodak LS743 for a couple years than gave it to my girlfriend and bought a 30D.

I no longer have any of my P&S cams but here they are in order:

Fuji S7000 (Didn't truly appreciate it. I thought it was noisy at high ISOs but knowing what I know now it really wasn't that bad):

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Maybe that's why people stuck with Canon anyway. :D That's part of the reason (although very small) that I went that way. Mostly it was also because, back in the days of the 350D, 20D, D70, D70s etc I felt that Canon DSLRs offered the cleanest images at high ISOs.

Bought this I think early 1997, camera, memory, power adapter and the display which was optional for total just under $2000. For that you had a camera that had just shy of 1/2 a megapixel of resolution.
