Pic came out Just okay.
any comments on how to improve it.
it is 1 block away from me so I have plenty of opportunities to re-shoot the picture.

I mean, the buildings are in focus, the colors look great...

Yeah each one of the those buildings look at least 20-30 years apart! I wish the angle was a little bit wider for this..

Try and make sure the verticals are straight next time. You can do this in Photoshop easily enough.
