Some macro with the G7

I'm really impressed with the G7 in every way

Here are some macro shots with it, no crops and no macro lens adaptors just the G7 lens.

how does it compare to your s3 is for macro?
Can you shot the same object same lighting with both?

Sorry I sold the S3 IS so I can't do a comparison, but the G7 has very good macro capablities. I think IQ wise the G7 wins in macro vs the S3 IS but the S3 IS makes it easier with its tilt/swivel LCD.

Nice shot racketman! I need a macro lens adaptor for the G7 I had no idea you could get that kind of magnification.

I've not tried any bugs with the G7, Just been playing around with stuff in the house when I get bored.

Nikon close up lens threads on to 52mm G6 adaptor. I presume G7 has such adaptors available.
