When doing senior portraits does the student usually pick what photo they get?
Also, on average how many different pictures are usually printed? 3-4?

Not entirely sure what you mean with your first question, do you mean student vs. parent or student vs. photog? When I had my senior portaits done, I received a folio that contained a photo featuring each pose, about 8 different poses, so the photog chose what I have to assume were the best shots of each pose and put them in the folio for me (well, my parents) to pick from, no looking through a bunch of proofs or anything. As for printing, I chose 4 different poses for wallets and 2 poses for larger prints (8x10s and an 11x20). I think that 3 - 4, may be slightly low, with 5 -6 being more average (only based on my experiences and fellow classmates when I was in school). When I shot my cousin's senior portaits, they also chose 5-6 poses to print. Hope this helps Ben
