Finally!! I bought the 30D with 17-85mm IS USM today after many weeks of searching for a good price and a reliable place to get it from. charged the battery up as soon as i got home and started shooting! very impressed with both the camera and lens so far cant wait to get out and take more photos!

Great camera, congratulations!

Now, take a good look at your last credit card statement and try to remember it: everyone that comes after this one will look much, much worse.. :D

Congrats, You must be a genius! I have the same combo ;) and it's fantastic, and even my wife who doesn't get too technical loves it and finds it easy to use and the IS compensates for our somewhat unsteadied hands.
