Canon 28-135 IS USM Lens Problem :(

Not sure if ill get any help with this but worth a punt :)

I've got the above lens (Canon 28-135 mm IS USM) been working fine no problems at all, up untill now when focusing on something the lens constantly keeps trying to focus when looking at the ring on the outside of the lens which reads the f stops etc.. it seems that it keeps focusing then going into macro then focusing all the time any ideas whats going on please?

I used to have one of those and found it struggled to focus especially in low light or low contrast subjects...

mine works just fine...go to the Canon web site and follow the suggested Q & A's to resolve the problem...there after, if need be, call Canon and talk to Technical Support, they are very helpful and have the exact answers you are looking for...Lastly, if need be, send it in for service...it's probably under warranty and won't cost anything...
