btw - how come you have two 70-200mm lenses? Why not sell the f4 version?

the f4 was the first lens I bought and got a great deal on ebay.....I use it alot outdoors and in some conditions I would not want to take the more expensive f2.8 in. For example, I've taken it down the ski slopes (pictures of people skiing, jumping etc) , hiking, and other similiar places. Just could not bring myself to do that with the other lens. I use the 2.8 for home stuff, candid outdoor shots, and some portraits of my family. Both are really great and just can't part with either.

I have been in the same boat, should or shouldn't I? Then saw one in a shop yesterday at a good price and went to have a look and well you can proberly guess, I sucumbed and bought it! I had been using the 10D and might well still use it a bit if I need the crop factor, Like has allready been said, If you want it and can aforded it you might as well gpo for it. When a replacement is brought out when ever that this It will cost more then you can buy a 5D for now, maybe not as much as the 5D cost when it first came out. Anyway I was in two minds but glad I did, I managed to get out for a short while to day and shot of a few shots, using my 17-40L (mainly at the 17 end) Just looking through the viewfinder it's like using my old 5 film camera again. Oh and to be able to go wide! lovely. Well enough talk time to download the pics and have a look, hope I will get chance to go out tomorrow and try a few of my other lenes!

"Oh no he's got his camera with him again!#!
