Nice shots.

Did Autumn ever start in the UK?

It seems we went straight to winter. We missed out on all the glorious colours this year. I remember the same time last year being blown over by the strong autumn colours. This year in the same spots it just never happened :(

Thanks for all the comments :)

I didn't have a CP, but one is on my Christmas list - the water was just very shallow and I was lucky with the way the light was hitting it. A ND filter would have helped too, too much quality degradation occurred due to diffraction from f/22 upwards.

It was quite difficult taking photos with my 60mm macro (way too long), so I hope to get the 10-22 to start upon my landscape journey (especially for Christmas). Another inconvenience was the water hitting against the tripod, during a 5" exposure that can build up some camera shake.

Hence a fair bit of PP went into the images, here is the second shot unprocessed:

I am from Wolverhampton, West Midlands area but have done some traveling into Wales a few times during the Autumn period and couldn't believe how dull and lifeless the trees were.

There is this one spot by where I live that a cycle through quite regular and the one day last year when the sun was out I was amazed at the colours. Strong reds and oranges e.t.c. This year again I go through regular and nothing :(

Thanks.

Nothing really spectacular; unsharp mask, curves, saturation (separate for each hue), (dodge the dark areas), blur the noise in the water, final unsharp mask, border, and thats it.
