Wonderful shot (like the other one you posted like this).
Definitely a wall-hanger - there's some really nice textures in the foreground.

Thanks all for your feedback. It was a pretty serene scene there. Glad it seems to show in the shot too. I just noticed that the 800 pixel version has a problem with the smallest dark structures on the ground. Looks like I overdid the sharpening after scaling. In the original size version, these "black points" are small stones and don't show any halo.

cheers

You like it because the colors match your font color. ;)

Nice image, Roland. Definitely pleasing to the eye.

Thank you! Once again a shot that doesn't really work in small... it sucks you into the scene when you see it in the proper size (A3+ print).

cheers

Totally great. It's very minimal, but that's what makes it what it is. Despite the small screen size, I find that the main "pathway" still draws you in with it's zigzagging as it gets farther away. I really enjoy the fact that it appears very vast in the foreground due to it expanding into the middle edges of the frame, unsurrounded by anything. Great colors.

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm glad to hear the shot works, even in this small size.

cheers
