Sigh, I hate EF-S, but what do you think of this 17-55 IS lens.

Even with my 30D and 1D. I remember I had my 70-200 on the 1D, when i was covering a news event at UCLA. I realized I could have used that little bit of extra reach. I can't always be happy, i guess.

100-400!! :D

Then we lose the big fat fast f/2.8 aperture.... it came in very useful (I shot a street protest yesterday), the ability to pick a subject out of the crowd with selective focus at f/2.8.

That's when you push audience members out of the way or block their view to get the shot!! ;)

Hahaha :)

I think I swung my 70-200 into a couple of people's faces in the process. It was so chaotic anyway nobody would have noticed. Organized chaos, but chaos nonetheless.
