My Fellow G2'ers

I have an old Canon Super 8 Model 518 movie camera I bought 1967 in Vietnam. I also purchased a Canon 1.6x teleconverter which attaches over the camera lens via a setscrew. For the past three decades its been sitting rather 'protected' in its case.

Well guess what my fellow G2 owners - I dusted off the 35 year old (how time flies) and placed the 1.6x teleconverter over the Lensmate and it fit!

I must warn you, this is a HEAVY piece of glass. I just purchased a lens cap (72mm) for the lens.

I used it and it works well! A tripod or monopod I would say is a must!

Good Luck and Good Hunting!
