After a long wait I finally have a 300D (slightly used) on the way to me. I would now go on to explain how I've been debating on the move to SLR for a while....blah blah blah....but it's been said a million times before.
I just had to get my "finally!" thread in cause I deserve it 
Also ordered a used nifty fifty and the 300 comes with a grip as well.
I can't wait....was shipped out today.
Just in time to get enough practice in before my first baby is born (due date = 07/07/07)
If that ends up being the actual birthdate....it will be a bit crazy....as mine is 7/7/77!!!
