Sometimes Ebay is a treasure trove even for camera buyers.
I've outgrown the 300D and found a 20d body on an ebay auction site and bought it for $US665. (didn't even need to snipe)
It came with battery and a 1 gig card.
Been playing with it for about an hour and it seems to work perfectly.
I wish it was a 5D but I can't afford to pay triple the price.
File number says 3700 pictures and the body is perfect.
So buying it with no software, cables etc saved me a bundle and the good thing is the 300d batteries cables etc work with this model.
It's nice that some compatiblity helps when shopping around because you can save a bundle.
i know that probably in the US you can find the same price for it with the extras but they don't ship overseas.
The only thing I had to do was convert the language setting from chinese to english.
Just the viewfinder alone is different and larger.
Anyways i'm blabbering.
