Macro and wide angle. Not sure which WA yet, but the Canon 100 macro looks good to me.

85mm f1.8 will complete my "core" kit.

However, I'd love to upgrade the following:

Canon 70-200mm f4 L to f2.8 L
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 to Canon 24-105mm f4L

And of course upgrade to the 40D when it comes out.

For what I do, the 70-200 IS would be much more beneficial for sports than my 70-200 f4, but I don't mind it. Also, the 16-35 would probably be better for indoor shots without flash, but I love my 17-40. So, I guess I should be happy. If I shoot with a pro in the future for sports, I think I'll need something more telephoto, but can't spend anything right now. :(

10-85mm at f1.4 or faster... ;)

10, 25 or 30, 50, and 80 or 85 primes would do - only the 10 doesn't exist.
