Have 2 P&S, use them when I can't take anything that doesn't fit in my purse. When I can sneek my 20D in with the 24-70, that's what I do. Otherwise, a little one is not so obvious.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

I never been a fan of Point and Shoots, never enough control, and they are always far to slow.

But if you spend enough time on this forum you will find me making lots of noise about the virtue of a good compact.
Im a huge fan or Canons A series for example, and learned most of what I know on an A40 and then an A80.

At the end of the day, and this is a common theme in this forum, its the photographer that matters, not the camera they use.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Yup - the tool is only a part of photography.....money can buy anyone the tool.

You'll probably get more responses in the appropriate forum.

I have an A75, and used it very extensively until last may (After getting the 350D I cut back use to almost zero - I always end up taking it on nights out, when the fast lenses and high ISO's of the 350D would be useful.

Perhaps I'll get something like the G7 in the future.

Mine gathers dust. The only time it's used is when my son plays with the video function.

I was using mine right up to around 2 days ago. I did use it yesterday to take a pic of my husband playing with my 350d. Just look for posts started by me to find pics I took with my A610.
