this is a picture i took with a kodak 2 mp camera i had while i was overthere for a couple of months a few years back...god i wish i had the 20d :P

nice ,just up the coast from me.there are a few newcastle people on here as well ,i'm sure they will be along shortly to comment.
2mp,wow doesnt that seem a while ago.

That rock in the surfline tells me its Newcastle Beach (one of about a dozen beaches like that one). I think I can see the road to King Edwards Park on the far right of the pic.

edit - I'll add that many shooters stand on the rock to get closer in to the surfers -just a bit closer! Not all of us have Bigmas!

i didn't either...lol...a bigma at that time would have been a camera with 3 mp :P

i really wish i was more into the photography thing at the time...i stayed in surfers for a week and was in sydny for a while and stayed at wagga wagga for most of the trip with my gf at the time

i have been so bored with the weather here i was going through old photos and found this one and realised i could slavage it...if i recall the old camera was a kodak easyshare dx4200...lolfar cry from my 20d...i'll see what i can find if i have any more...lol...i was horrible at pictures back then :(

now come on...wagga wasn't bad...but a far cry from surfers!

you can see a little noise and i can't FIND a profile for a cx3200 kodak...lol...but this is one i found and tried to save

when i stayed here the woman in the hotel was rude as hell and my gf and her mother let her have it...lol...aussie girls have attitudes!

wow, Surfers actually looks mod.
The Bondi sand looks red-ish in that pic. Weird Kodak colour balance maybe.
..and the Opera Hut looks sorta plain in midday light. But it tells me you must've got on a harbour ferry! (IMHO the ferries are the best things about Sydney).

yup...i was on a jetcat on my way to bondi...lol..i like the 2nd shot in your series :)

i tell you...that kodak cx3200 is nothing compared to my a610 nor my 20d...far cry but it was a good camera back in the day ....<--lol


the sand might look red because it was nearing sun down when we got there

Yeah,, the girls have a wineglass shape. They're almost synchronised, which makes the pic. I was standing on the rock looking back to the girls on the south end of the beach -- the cliff behind is the one under the road to up to King Edward's.
